Accounts and Payments
How to manage your surfguard account and book and pay for items online.
if you have never used the online system it takes a few minutes to set up, but this is a one time activity.
Please Note: If you are joining more than one family member you will need to repeat these steps for each member of your family. Each new member must have their own individual username, however you may use the same password for each member.
- Never been a member at Lorne or elsewhere start with New Members
- A member at Lorne but don't have an online account choose Existing Members
- Do have an account and need to renew for the 11/12 season choose Renewing Members
- Finally don't forget Make a Payment
New Members
Complete this section if you are a new Lorne member.
1.Go to the Lifesaving Online website at www.lifesavingonline.com.au
Choose Create an Account 1 NB If you did this previously you should go to Existing Members
2.
If you are a new member click No.
3.
Choose Life Saving Victoria, Otway (District) and Lorne as the club
4.Complete the rest of the details of the screen
Remember your user name and password, you will need it each year as you renew your subscriptions and to pay for any courses etc. Just a hint usernames and passwords are case sensitive
5.You will be sent a confirmation email, or SMS if you chose that option from lifesaving online. Please click on the link in the email to enable your account
6.The link presents you with a Logon screen
Please enter the user name and password details you provided in step 4
7.You are shown your account details.

Please complete as many details as you can, make sure you enter a current Email Address, and Mobile Phone, as that is where your mower will go.
8.If you know your membership category choose it otherwise leave it as Probationary and the club will choose the correct membership based on your age.
9.Complete the Terms and Conditions.
Tick the two check boxes, and complete the junior section if entering a junior.
10.Press Submit and your account is created. Go to Making a payment to compete your entry.
Existing Members
Complete this section if you are an existing member setting up your online account for the first time
1.Go to the Lifesaving Online website at www.lifesavingonline.com.au
Choose Create an Account 1 NB If you did this previously you should go to Renewing Members

If you are a existing member click Yes.
3.Identify yourself
Enter your details and SurfGuard will use these to identify you on the system
4.Complete the rest of the details of the screen

Renewing Members
Complete this section if you already have an account and are Renewing your membership
1.Go to the Lifesaving Online website at www.lifesavingonline.com.au
Choose Login
2.Login
Enter using your username and password.
If you don't have a username see New Members or Existing Members for details on how to create one.
3.Renew
Choose the renew link from the screen.
4.Renew
Choose the renew button from the screen.
5.Update any changed details on your account and press save.
You have renewed your membership, don't forgot to go to Payment.
Making a payment
How to make a payment for membership or anything else.
1.Go to the Lifesaving Online website at www.lifesavingonline.com.au
Choose Login
2.Login
Enter using your username and password.
If you don't have a username see New Members or Existing Members for details on how to create one.
3.Login
Choose Payments from the screen
4.Payment
Choose Make Payment from the screen
5.Payment Details
Choose a Transaction Type and enter the Payment Details and Price. For a list of the standard fees see the View Price List link. Payments can be made for more than one person, but please place each separate person and payment on a row by itself. That will make it much easier for Tina to decipher who is paying for what. Important, if making a family payment please list each person that the payment is for, eg Tim Smith, Mary Smith, Anne Smith and Jane Smith. When you have completed entering the details make sure that you put your email address in so that you are sent a receipt.
6.Finally press submit to complete the details, you will be asked then for your credit card details.
7.Credit Card Details
Enter your credit card details and submit to complete your payment
