Getting to Lorne

If you are coming from Melbourne then you need to allow plenty of time. The roads become congested and travel times can be slow. We strongly recommend taking the back route via Deans Marsh Road. We have sign posted this route for the event so that it is easy to find.

Please be patient driving to Lorne and on your travel home from Lorne. Allow at least 2 and half hours to get to Lorne and possibly longer. If you can form a carpool with friends.

Parking

Parking in and around Lorne is difficult as there is limited space available for parking. To assist with finding parking we have worked with the local community to make available the following parking locations.

Parking is run by the Lorne Community Groups listed below. They set the prices for car-parks

A	The Carpark beside the Surf Club. This park is run by the Lorne Primary School.	115
B	Parking on the grassed area of the foreshore. Run by Lorne Primary School	180
C	Stribling Reserve. Parking is on the oval. Run by Lorne Cricket Club	200
D	Lorne Country Club. A free shuttle service will run from the Country Club to the bottom of Deans Marsh road. From here it is a short and flat work along the beach or the main road to the surf club. The shuttle service starts at 8:00am and runs till 5:00pm. The parking is run by the Lorne Primary School	400
