*** Note we have pushed the start time of the Open and Superfish waves back by 10 to 15 minutes to provide more time for some of the earlier waves to finish. Opens will now start at 2.15 and Superfish at 2.55 ***
We have made some changes to the waves this year:
- The Superfish is the last wave – this will enable everyone to see the fantastic finish of these great swimmers
- The fastest wave of each age group will include the both Male and Female (swimmers with different colour caps). This is to enable a 10 minute gap between the last wave of an age group and the first wave of the next one (for as many age groups as we can given other constraints).
- You will be assigned to a wave based on your estimated swim time and advised by email and at registration time. Some other waves also have 10 minute gaps to manage the total number of swimmers in the water at any point in time for safety reasons
- The start time is around 11.45am (compared to 12.30 in 2019) so make sure you arrive early!
